Going on a casual shopping trip to Copenhagen. Just a grey day in the city. Nothing special going on ...
What ... Wait a second!
This is fantastic because it is the first Christian Louboutin store in Copenhagen.
There is not much to see yet, though. The windows were covered with Louboutin posters, but the door was slightly open so I managed to take a peek. It was fairly dark inside, but I saw some neon lights, shaped like letters I think, and something purple. Well, that is not much of a sneak peak.
I have heard that the architect Eric Clough is creating the shop, which makes it all even more exciting. A couple of years ago Clough turned an apartment on Fifth Avenue into a scavenger hunt (sounds crazy, read about it here). I am curious to see what happens when you mix that kind of unconventional architecture with the universe of Louboutin.
The shop is supposed to open sometime this month and I will probably be camping outside in a tent until then.
It has been a while since my last post, because I had to take a break this week to study for my last exam of the year. It went unexpectedly well and now it is time for summer vacation (and blogging)!
Many things have happened and many things have been purchased while I've been away, but I will be writing about all of that very soon.
